89% Sauvignon Blanc and 11% Semillon from Rapaura, stainless-steel fermented to 13.1% alc. and 3.5 g/L rs. Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, lighter on rim. This has an up-front and full, pungent bouquet of passionfruit and tropical fruits, lifted by fresh fermentation esters, revealing grassy and flinty notes in the glass. Dry to taste, aromatically lifted esters and fruit flavours of passionfruit and grass are expressed with good richness, sweetness and weight. Brisk acidity adds to the freshness and liveliness to the mouthfeel. Slightly grainy phenolic textures carry the palate, building to lead to a dry finish. This is a full and pungent Sauvignon Blanc with youthfully lifted fruit and dry textures.
