Bright, light cherry-pink colour with some purple hues and some depth, lighter on the rim. The nose is fresh and bright with aromas of strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants, along with mouthwatering notes of fresh herbs with mineral elements. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the flavours of strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants and pomegranate are vibrant and juicy and gently fill the palate. The mouthfeel is refreshing and lively with lacy acidity balancing the fruit richness. A little confectionary lift emerges and enhances the aromatic profile. This has a rounded, concentrated core with a fine-textured line that leads to a dry, thirst-quenching finish of raspberries and redcurrants. This is a bright and juicy dry rosé with strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant flavours and a refreshing, mouthwatering palate. Serve as an aperitif and with Mediterranean fare over the next 2 years. A blend of 78% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Syrah, a portion crush and given skin contact overnight, the rest crushed directly to press following a short skin contact period, cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 4 g/L RS. 18.0-/20 Jul 2016 RRP $17.99
