Misha’s Vineyard The Soloist Pinot Rosé 2022, Central Otago

Rosé from New Zealand - Central Otago & Waitaki
Review Date : 29-Nov-2022
Bright, pale berry pink with depth, even colour throughout. The bouquet is enticing, with rich floral filled the glass melded with raspberry, pomegranate and spice. Medium-full bodied, dry to taste, aromas of raspberry and pomegranate interweaved rose petals, delicate spice and underlined mealy, savoury details. Creamy lees broadened the palate along with a powdery phenolic line, flowing effortlessly with fine, crunchy acidity to a lengthy finish. This is a broody, savoury, enticing Rosé with perfumed floral and spice on a creamy palate with a fresh red fruit backbone. Serve as an aperitif or match with venison carpaccio over the next 3 years. Pinot Noir grapes, destemmed and crushed, left on skins for an average of 18 hours, then pressed and cold-settled, fermented cool in stainless steel and 15% in older oak. 13.5% alc, 3 g/l RS. 19+/20 pts (96 pts) Nov 2022 RRP $30
