Hand-picked fruit fermented in stainless-steel and French oak hogsheads to 14.0% alc. and 7.1 g/L rs. Bright, even, golden-hued straw-yellow colour. This has an elegantly proportion and richly concentrated nose of exotic tropical fruits, ripe apricots and a fresh herb underlay, the aromatics lifted, pure and showing excellent clarity. Dry to taste and full-bodied, up-front apricot, citrus and exotic floral flavours show with good weight and presence. The palate is rich, rounded and near-unctuous, balanced by bright acidity and alcohol drive. The flavours flow with harmony to an elegant, slender and sustained finish. This is a rich and exotic Viognier with clarity if flavour and a harmonious mouthfeel. Match with rich seafood and poultry dishes over the next 3-4+ years.
