Michel Gros Vosne-Romanee 1er ‘Aux Brulees’ 2008

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Jul-2011
Bright ruby-red colour with youthful purple hues, this has a vibrant, fresh and cutting bouquet of bright dark red berry fruits, lifted with violet notes as well as hints of earth and game. A fresh, bright fruited wine on palate, there are flavours of dark red berry fruits with a little gaminess. Fresh acidity and a taut firmness from the tannin extraction give a hard linearity to the wine that will see it age 5-7 years, developing moderate interest on the way. Some tasters detected brettanomyces.  Jul 2011
