Maui Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 14-Feb-2011
Bright straw-yellow with youthful green hues to the colour, this has a fresh, tight nose of English gooseberries and herbs, with minerals and lifted nuances of tropical fruits. Dry to taste, this has a fine and elegantly proportioned palate with restrained flavours of gooseberries, passionfruit and minerals, with fresh acidity. The palate features fine textures and a good nuanced finish. Fruit from Tiki Wines' vineyards in the Upper Wairau Valley cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and approx.. 5 g/L rs. Drink as an aperitif or with shellfish over the next 2-3 years. 16.5+/20 Feb 2011 RRP $19.99
