Maude Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 24-Dec-2013
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues. The bouquet is very refined and elegant with tightly bound, steely passionfruit and mineral aromas, revealing delicate lime and fresh herb notes in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, restrained, softly presented flavours of passionfruit feature on the palate. The mouthfeel is smooth flowing with a fine line and ripe, restrained acidity. Aromatic florals, herbs and mineral detail unfold and are carried to a soft-textured, dry finish. This is a gentle and fine-featured Sauvignon Blanc with fresh passionfruit and mineral nuances. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Wairau Valley fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 4.5 g/L RS. 1,500 dozen made. 17.5-/20 Dec 2013 RRP $20.00
