Bright, light salmon-pink with some depth and a rose-gold hue, even colour throughout. The nose is soft with beautifully composed fragrances of strawberries, cherries, melded with red floral and mouthwatering minerals. Dry to taste, light-bodied, the palate has a feathery lightness, packed with succulent strawberries, cherries and raspberry lemonade, along with red blossoms and pollen linger to an elegant refreshing finish. The wine has a fine-textured line carries the juicy fruit along with refreshing acidity, flows smoothly with good energy. The floral component presented elegantly on the bouquet and palate, enriched by pollen element. This is an elegantly refreshing rosé with aromas of succulent red fruit, red floral and pollen details on a fine-textured line. Match with salmon gravlax and antipasto over the next 2 years. Fruit from Tietjen vineyard in the Hexton Hills appellation. Cool fermented to 12.2% alc, 4.14 g/l RS. Dry farmed, vegan friendly. 18/20 pts Oct 2020 RRP $23.99
