Massey Dacta Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 01-Nov-2012
Bright, pale straw colour, light on rim. The nose is light and softly ethereal with chalky gooseberry and herbal aromas. Dry to taste, the flavours of savoury gooseberries, capsicums and herbs are light and a little reserved, but openly accessible. The mouthfeel is soft from restrained acidity and the palate carries a textured, grainy line which carries through to a dry finish with acid crispness showing. This is a light, dry and textured Sauvignon Blanc with modest flavours to serve with antipasto and first courses over the next 18 months. Dillons Point fruit cool-fermented to 13.5% alc., and 5.8 g/L rs. 15.5+/20 Nov 2012 RRP $15.99
