Map Maker Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 15-Mar-2013
Bright, very pale, green-hued straw colour, near colourless on rim. The nose is elegant and slender with piercing aromas of passionfruit building with depth in the glass. Dry to taste and fine in proportion, tightly bound and concentrated flavours of passionfruit form a concentrated line on palate, with lush, mouthwatering acidity. The textures are soft and fine and the flavours flow smoothly through to a light, nuanced, refreshingly crisp finish with moderate length. This is an elegant, but concentrated Sauvignon Blanc with intense passionfruit flavours and a smooth mouthfeel. Serve with salads, vegetables, poultry and goats cheese over the next 2-3 years. Fermented partially with indigenous yeasts to 13.0% alc. and 2.6 g/L rs. 17.5/20 Mar 2013 RRP $19.95
