Maori Point Central Otago Pinot Gris 2009

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 19-Aug-2011
Very pale straw-green in colour, quite youthful in appearance, this has a full, voluminous nose with shy white stonefruit and mineral aromas, and a touch of flint. Dry to taste and full-bodied, this is 14.2% alc. with 2.8 g/L rs. A solid, tight wine with good weight and textured presence, the fruit flavours of stonefruits and minerals are rather shy in expression, suggesting the wine will need more time to develop.  Aug 2011
