Mansion House Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 02-Mar-2015
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues. The nose is fresh and elegant with mouthwatering aromatic white florals, gooseberries and grassy, pungent fruit notes that grow in intensity. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, straightforward grassy fruit flavours are tight in expression and slender in proportion. The palate follows a light, textural line with racy acidity and cut, lending a brisk flow and mouthfeel. Some gooseberry and passionfruit elements unfold and are carried to a crisp, dry finish. This is a crisp, slender and racy Sauvignon Blanc with grassy fruit flavours. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 3.3 g/L RS. 16.5+/20 Mar 2015 RRP $21.99
