Full, deep ruby-black, lighter ruby-red on the rim. The nose is full, powerful and elegant, with penetrating aromas of black plum, ripe blackberry, violet, bacon and spice. Full-bodied, aromas of black plum intertwined with blackberry, black raspberry and violet, unfolding clove, star anise and bacon. The fruit is concentrated with a depth of flavours; fine-grained tannin elegantly frames the wine, enlivening acidity providing vitality and driving a long, poised finish. This Syrah shows beautiful black fruit and spice with a fine-grained tannin framework and vibrant acid thread. Match with venison and lamb over the next 8+ years.
