Main Divide Sauvignon Blanc 2022, North Canterbury

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Canterbury & Waipara
Review Date : 06-Nov-2022
Bright, even, pale yellow with a green tinge. The nose is fresh with a softness, penetrating aromas of citrus, passionfruit, tomato vine, lemongrass and elderflower. Medium-light bodied, aromas of lime, grapefruit and passionfruit melded with lemongrass, elderflower and saline. The mouthfeel is silky with fine-textured phenolics; mouthwatering acidity drives a long, crisp finish. This vibrant Sauvignon Blanc features citrus and balanced herbaceous details on a fine-textured palate. Match with lemongrass fish and steamed mussels over the next 2-3 years. Fruit was sourced from Te Hau vineyard on Georges Road, cool-fermented in stainless steel to 12.8% alc. 18.5-/20 pts (92 pts) Nov 2022 RRP $21.99
