Main Divide Rosé 2021, North Canterbury

Rosé from New Zealand - Canterbury & Waipara
Review Date : 17-Dec-2021
Bright, pale blush pink, even colour throughout. The nose is gentle and fresh, with faint aromas of red berries melded with red blossom and a subtle hint of spice. Light-bodied, aromas of rose petal entwined with red berries and red cherries linger with prickly pepper dusting. The fruit has poise and depth, shows delicate floral notes, flows along a bright, crisp palate with supple, fine phenolics. This is an amiable Rosé with rounded flavours of red berries and delicate floral details, clean and forward with good balance. Serve as an aperitif or match with a spicy beef salad over the next 2 years. A blend of varieties, a small amount of skin contact, fermented cool in stainless steel to 12.8% alc, 4.6 g/l RS. 17.5/20 pts (88 pts) Dec 2021 RRP $20.99
