Loveblock Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 06-May-2016
Bright, light straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, pale edged. The nose is soft and harmoniously interwoven with gentle aromas of cut grass, nettles, some secondary bean-like development and piquant fresh herbs. This has delicacy and detail. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses light and harmoniously presented fruit flavours of cut grass, green and yellow capsicums, nettles and beans, along with tropical fruit elements. The fruit is up-front and the mouthfeel is rounded from soft acidity, the palate following a dry, fine phenolic thread that leads to a light, tight, dry finish. This is a softly integrated Sauvignon Blanc with cooler spectrum and secondary bean-like nuances, and a light, dry finish. Serve with seafood, salads and Pacific Rim fare over the next 18 months. Fruit from ‘Loveblock Farm’ in the Awatere Valley, cool-fermented to 12.4% alc. and 5.8 g/L RS. Certified BioGro organic. 17.0/20 May 2016 RRP $24.99
