Loveblock Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 27-Jul-2017
Bright, light straw-yellow with slight green hues, lighter on the rim. The nose is elegantly concentrated and now just beginning to show roundness to the core of fresh herbs, green stonefruits and cut grass aromas, unfolding a little savoury mineral and bean-like nuance. Dry to taste, the palate has sweetly rich fruit flavours of cut grass and green stonefruits with subtle secondary notes of bean, earth and minerals. The flavours form a well-concentrated heart and flows smoothly with a degree of lusciousness along a very fine-textured line with crisp, lacy acidity lending tension and energy. The wine carries positively to an elegant finish with sweet grassy fruit entwined with savoury nuances. Match with salads and vegetables, and Mediterranean fare over the next 2 years. MS clone fruit from the ‘Loveblock Farm’, Awatere Valley, fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 4 g/L RS. Certified BioGro organic. 17.5/20 Jul 2017 RRP $N/A
