Louis Sipp Alsace Pinot Gris ‘Trottacker’ 2010

Pinot Gris from France - Alsace
Review Date : 07-Mar-2014
Bright, lemony straw-yellow colour. This has a rich, bright and aromatic nose with yellow stonefruits and honey, and possibly some botrytis elements adding to the depth and interest. Medium in sweetness, bright, aromatic fruit flavours of stonefruits, honey and creaming soda are enhanced by the sugar. The mouthfeel is smooth and lush with good acid energy providing drive. The fruit is carried by the sugar to a moderately long finish. This is an up-front, fruit expressive Pinot Gris carried by the sugar on the finish. 13.0% alc. 5+ years. 17.5/20 Feb 2014 RRP $49.99
