Louis Sipp Alsace Grand Cru Riesling ‘Kirchberg de Ribeauville’ Selection de Grains Nobles 2006

Sweet Wine from France - Alsace
Review Date : 07-Mar-2014
Bright, even, light golden yellow colour. This has a full and concentrated bouquet with aromas of honeycomb intermixed with ripe stonefruits, minerals and nuts at the core. Layers of richness unfold, with saline detail, nuts and oxidative complexities. Very sweet to taste, rich, densely luscious flavours of ripe fruits, wild honey, nuts and salty minerals fill the mouth. The sweetness and lusciousness are well-balanced by a textural framework, with racy acidity providing real energy and freshness. This has layers of complexity from botrytis and site. It will develop slowly and should keep 15+ years. 12.5% alc. (500 ml) 19.0-/20 Feb 2014 RRP $169.00
