Louis Sipp Alsace Grand Cru Pinot Gris ‘Kirchberg de Ribeauville’ 2004

Pinot Gris from France - Alsace
Review Date : 07-Mar-2014
Bright straw yellow with lemony-gold hues. The nose is refined and elegant in proportion with restrained stonefruit kernel aromas along with a saline minerality and some nutty oxidation and earthy nuances. Dryish to taste, light yellow stonefruit flavours show some secondary development along with suggestions of nutty oxidation melded with saline and minerals. The palate features soft, grainy phenolics and low acidity, the palate just beginning to dry. Drinking well now, nearing the end of its plateau. 12.5% alc. 17.0-/20 Feb 2014 RRP $48.00
