Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er ‘Clos St Jacques’ 2009

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 18-Feb-2014
Moderately deep, lighter ruby-red colour, lighter on rim. The bouquet is concentrated a broad with full aromas of ripe, dark cherry and raspberry fruit aromas revealing complexing layers of spices, nutty oak, sweet plum and liqueur elements and dried piquancy from whole clusters. This has a robustness of style and shows rich, luscious primary fruit and complexing detail all framed by plenty structure and grip through the palate. This is a full, complex flavoured and robust Clos St Jacques with freshness and plenty of structure. It will develop over the next 12-15+ years. 19.5-/20 Feb 2014 RRP $N/A
