Lost Garden Rosé 2019, Hawkes Bay

Rosé from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 08-Jun-2020
Bright, light salmon-pink, youthful, lighter on the rim. This has an elegant presentation of fresh field strawberries, raspberries and fragrant of red florals. Dry to taste, medium-bodied; the palate is bright and vibrant with an abundance of fresh raspberries, strawberries along with citrus elements and a subtle layer of red florals. The mouthfeel is crisp with mouthwatering tangy acidity, carried by good energy, along a fine-textured line, leading to a light, delicately spicy finish. This is a bright and aromatic dry rosé with flavours of raspberries and strawberries, and nuances of red florals seasoned by delicate spices on a gentle mouthwatering fine-textured palate. Serve as an aperitif and cold smoke salmon over the next 2 years. Blend of Syrah and Pinot Noir, fermented to 12% alc, 2.5g/l RS. 17.5/20pts June 2020 RRP$29.95
