Deep, ruby-red with a dark purple hue, lighter on the rim. This has a lifted, fresh, youthful bouquet, aromas of red berries, black raspberries melded with spice, red floral and a hint of liquorice. Medium-light bodied, black raspberries, cherries enhanced by sweet vanilla, spice, liquorice and red floral. Fine, grainy tannins provide a grippy texture. Juicy, lacy acidity flows with good energy to a dry, savoury finish. This juicy, fresh Pinot Noir shows vibrant fruit with a dark core, acidity edge, textural grip, and sweet spice enhancement. Match with duck or pork over the next 3+ years. Certified organic fruit from Loop Road and Pisa. Handpicked, with 14% whole bunch, 3-5 days cold-soaked, indigenous fermentation to 14% alc, aged in barrels for 10 months, 10% new oak. 16.5+/20 pts (84 pts) June 2022 RRP $35
