Lonestone ‘Block 2′ Central Otago Pinot Noir 2009

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 29-May-2011
Bright ruby-red colour with some purple hues, the nose is fresh and tightly bound, with bright black cherry and raspberry aromas, showing good depth. The palate is fresh and lively with attractively sweet, ripe fruit flavours of black berry fruits, dark cherries and raspberry liqueur. There is fine tannin grip and slippery acidity lends tension and a vibrancy that will allow the wine to develop over the next 5-6 years. Match with poultry and pork. 13.5% alc. 17.5/20 May 2011 RRP $21.99
