Linden Estate Esk Valley Hawke’s Bay Rosé 2014

Rose from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 13-Apr-2015
Moderately deep pink ruby-red colour with light purple hues on rim. The nose is very light and fresh with delicate raspberry and pomegranate aromas lifted by subtle red floral and confectionary elements, along with mouthwatering minerally and steely notes. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is racy and thirst-quenching with crisp, refreshing acidity the feature. The fruit flavours of raspberries, cranberries and pomegranate are light and lifted by red floral nuances. The wine follows a very fine textural thread that leads to a tight and dry, brisk finish. This is a crisp, dry and steely rosé with delicate raspberry and pomegranate flavours. Serve as an aperitif and with antipasto over the next 2 years. Made from contracted Pinot Noir fruit from the Dartmoor Valley, given 16 hours skin contact and tank-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 1.3 g/L RS. 16.0+/20 Apr 2015 RRP $18.00
