Bright, even, pale straw yellow. The nose is full and appealing, with aromas of citrus, stonefruit and a suggestion of pineapple, interwoven with a touch of vanilla. Medium-full bodied, aromas of Meyer lemon, peach and grapefruit peel broadened by a subtle creaminess and vanilla. The mouthfeel is delicate with a phenolic texture; balanced acidity lingers with citrus peels to a dry finish. This Chardonnay is easygoing with a citrus core, stonefruit, vanilla, and creamy details. Match with whitefish and poultry over the next 2-4 years. 12.5% alc, a fifth of the grapes fermented in large old oak barrels. 17/20 pts (85 pts) Oct 2022 RRP $18.99
