Les Petites Jamelles Rosé Pays d’Oc 2021, France

Rosé from France - Other
Review Date : 14-Jun-2022
Bright, even, pale blush pink. The nose is fresh and softly full, with penetrating aromas of strawberries, raspberries, citrus and spice. Light-bodied, juicy, salivating nuances of strawberries, raspberries intermixed lemonade, citrus zest and a hint of pepper. Crisp acidity drives focus and freshness to a refreshing finish. Textural phenolics contribute to the mouthfeel. This is a crisp Rosé with immediate appeal, shows red fruit, citrus fruit and a hint of spice. Match with seafood stew and sushi over the next 2-3 years. A blend of Grenache and Carignan, clarified juice fermented to 12% alc. 18+/20 pts (91 pts) June 2022 RRP $25
