Dark ruby-red with a black hue, slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is enticing with ripe blackberry, plum and dark cherry aromas entwined with liquorice and spice. Full-bodied, aromas of blackberry, plum and dark cherry packed the palate, unfolding liquorice and spice. Firm yet powdery tannins provide a structured palate; bright acidity lengthens to a refreshing finish. This is an accessible Malbec with rich black fruit, liquorice and tannin structure enlivened by lively acidity. Match with beef short rib and lamb stew over the next 3-5 years.
