Lawson’s Dry Hills Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2010

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 12-Feb-2011
Light cerise-pink in colour with soft purple hues to the colour, this has a bright, clean nose of ripe red berry fruits with hints of herbs adding real freshness. An elegant wine with 13.0% alc., dry to taste, carrying an imperceptible 5.4 g/L rs, this has moderately deep flavours of strawberries and cherry fruit on an attractively crisp, racy palate. The wine finishes dry with delicate floral nuances. Serve with cold meats, antipasto and salads over the next 18 months. Made from clone 10/5 Pinot Noir fruit from 10 y.o. vines from the ‘Chaytors Road' vineyard and cool-fermented. 16.5+/20 Feb 2011 RRP $19.00
