Review Date : 07-Feb-2025
Moderately deep ruby-red, slightly lighter on edge. This has a gentle, seductive bouquet with aromas of cherry, blueberry, rose, herbs and delicate spices. Medium-bodied, aromas of cherry and black raspberry entwined with cinnamon, nutmeg, rose and thyme. The fruit possesses pretty aromatics and floral details; lively acidity carries silky tannins to an elegant finish. This Pinot Noir is elegant and approachable with allure and nuanced. Match with duck and pork over the next 3-5 years. Fruit from Eyrie vineyard, within the Southern Valleys, controlled warm fermentation and aged on light lees in seasoned French oak for 8 months. 12.5% alc.
