Medium purple, lighter on the rim. The nose is soft and fresh with sweet aromas of blackcurrant and cherry, melded with herb and earthy hints. Medium-bodied, red cherry and blackcurrant aromas entwined with thyme, liquorice, dark chocolate, earth and spice. Finely extracted tannins provide a smooth, textured mouthfeel; dark herbs and spices accompany earthy elements lending a savoury, rich closing. This earthy Pinot Noir shows rich, dark aromas with balanced freshness and a lengthy finish. Match with rack of lamb and roasted beetroot over the next 5 years.
