Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 07-Feb-2025
Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is fresh and inviting, with aromas of gooseberry, passionfruit, nettle, and cut grass. Medium-light bodied, aromas of gooseberry, passionfruit and lime melded with nettle and cut grass. The fruit is energetic, supported by salivating acidity. The grassy nuance is well-portioned and elevates the wine with brightness and varietal. Match with sole fillet and steamed clams over the next 2-3 years. Fermented cool in stainless steel with indigenous yeast. Vegan friendly. 13% alc, 3.8 g/l RS. 18+/20 pts (91 pts) Feb 2025 RRP $20
