Riesling from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 30-Jun-2023
Bright, even, pale yellow with a hint of lime green. The nose is fresh and pretty with ripe apple, citrus and apple blossom. Medium-bodied, off-dry to taste, aromas of apple intertwined with lime, lemon and apple blossom. The wine is fresh and clean with a lemon feature; lively acidity salivates the palate, carrying a subtle phenolic texture to a crisp, dry finish. Match with snapper crudo and pulled pork bao over the next 3+ years. Fruit from Blind River, Awatere Valley, fermented to 11% alc, 18.4 g/l RS. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) June 2023 RRP $19.99
