La Vieille Ferme Ventoux Rosé 2014

Rose from France - Rhone
Review Date : 05-Oct-2015
Bright, pale candyfloss pink with light purple hues on the edge. The nose is soft and light with aromas of fresh strawberries, cranberries and quince, along with delicate herb, earth and mineral detail, lifted by subtle red florals. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, light strawberry and quince fruit flavours are lifted by red floral notes. The mouthfeel is gently luscious and lively from the lacy acidity. Some drying phenolics emerge and carry the wine to a light, dry, mouthwatering finish with quince and floral lift. This is a light, soft, dry rosé with fresh strawberry and quince flavours. Serve as an aperitif, with antipasto and tapas over the next 2 years, Made by saignee. Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. 16.5/20 Oct 2015 RRP $22.99
