La Ronciere ‘Nudo’ Rapel Valley Shiraz 2010

Syrah from Chile
Review Date : 19-Apr-2012
Bright ruby-red colour with deep purple hues. This has a light, lively and fresh aromatic nose of lifted dark berry fruit, white pepper and violetty florals. Medium-bodied, classical cool-climate Syrah flavours of lush, dark berry fruits, pepper and spices are framed in a well-balanced palate with slightly drying, grainy tannins and fresh acidity. The wine is well-proportioned and features a lifted, sweetly peppery finish with floral nuances. This is a fresh and reasonably luscious Syrah-styled wine with the structure to match pasta, pizza and grilled meats over the next 3-4 years. Fruit from Colchagua, fermented to 13.5% alc. 16.0+/20 Apr 2012 RRP $18.00
