Full, even, dark ruby-red colour with black and garnet hues. The bouquet is full and deep with intensely packed aromas of ripe black cherry and dark-red berry fruits, along with dark herbs, spice and cedar notes, lifted by some volatility. Medium-full bodied, the palate is soft and round with rich and sweet flavours of dark-red and black berried fruits, and spices and cedar, lifted by volatile elements. The fruit is well-concentrated and the mouthfeel features grainy tannin structure and soft acidity lending a dry, textural grip. The extraction carries the wine to a savoury black cherry fruited finish with lifted notes. This is a full, deep, dark-fruited Tempranillo with spice and cedar notes, volatile elements and a dry, grainy palate. Match with casseroles and game meat over the next 4-5 years.
