La Fleur d’Amelie Bordeaux Rosé 2012

Rose from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 13-Oct-2013
Bright, pale, salmon-pink colour, light on edge. This has a moderately full and concentrated bouquet of redcurrants, watermelon and fresh herbs, with earthy elements unfolding. Dry to taste, a fine, textured line of redcurrants, herbs and earthy fruit shows with good drive. The mouthfeel is enlivened by bright and crisp acidity that is thirst-quenching and dry. The flavours are restrained and delicate in expression and lead to a light, refreshing finish with red floral nuances. This is fine-textured, dry rosé with light, earthy redcurrant and herb flavours. Serve with antipasto and tapas over the next 2-3 years. Made from 80% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon fermented to 12.5% alc. 16.5/20 Oct 2013 RRP $24.99
