Deep ruby-red with a slight purple hue, even colour throughout. The nose is gently full, filled the glass with aromas of plums, blackberries, along with a touch of meat and spice. Medium-bodied, mouth-filling aromas of meatiness underlying plums and blackberries, a hint of cocoa and pepper lend a moderately long finish. The fruit is juicy with balanced acidity, and fine-tannin contributes to a soft grip adding structure. This is an approachable Syrah with primary fruit, meaty element, and tannin grip supports a mouth-filling palate. Match with barbeque meat and meat pie over the next 2 years.
