La Belle Angele Pinot Noir 2021, France

Pinot Noir from France - Other
Review Date : 28-Mar-2023
Bright, moderately deep ruby-red, even colour throughout. This has a soft bouquet with penetrating aromas of cherry and strawberry. Medium-light bodied, aromas of strawberry and cherry are vivid, supported by lively acidity. Supple, slightly granular tannin contributes to the mouthfeel. This Pinot Noir is soft with succulent fruit and a straight line. Match with pork rillette or chicken burger over the next 2-3 years. The fruit was cold-soaked for 5-6 days, fermented to 13% alc, and aged in vats for 6-8 months. 16/20 pts (80 pts) Mar 2023 RRP $21
