Dark ruby-red with a purple hue, even colour throughout. This has a generous, lush bouquet, penetrating aromas of raspberry, red cherry and sour plum, melded with hibiscus, herb and sweet spice. Medium-light bodied, raspberry, red cherry and young plum aromas entwined with hibiscus, thyme, cinnamon and a touch of liquorice. Savoury, earthiness emerged and lingered as time stood still. The mouthfeel is silken with filigree tannins, light as a feather. Lively acidity accompanies elegant fruit and sweet spice in harmony. This Pinot Noir has a delicate expression of all things nice and a sleek, long, sweet finish. Match with quail and rabbit terrine over the next 6-8 years.
