Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with the faintest ‘eye of partridge’ blush. The nose is soft and restrained in aromatics, showing yellow stonefruits, waxy herbal notes, a delicate floral lift, along with a subtle oxidative nutty element. The bouquet grows in presence in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-full bodied, subtle white stonefruit, floral and nutty flavours are presented on a solid, weighty and mouthfilling palate. Some phenolic graininess underlines the, but the mouthfeel is rounded and harmonious, possessing good power and drive. Fresh acidity and some alcohol warmth combine to carry the wine to a solid, slightly drying finish. This is a fulsome, weighty Garnacha Blanc-based wine with subtle flavours. Match with poultry and pork over the next 3-4+ years. 60% Garnacha Blanca, 25% Viognier and 15% Roussanne from the 26 ha family vineyard of Pepe Fuster in Terra Alta, cool-fermented in stainless steel to 13.7% alc. and 2.15 g/L RS.
