Light ruby-red wth a slight brick hue, slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is lifted and perfumed, with aromas of cherry, blackberry, dried hibiscus and dried herbs. Medium-light bodied, aromas of blackberry and cherry, melded with dried herbs, hibiscus and fragrant black tea. The wine is elegant with a sense of elevation, projecting perfumed nuances, dark fruited yet possessing delicate herbaceous details. Silky tannins coat the palate and lend a savoury, poised finish. Match with pulled pork and lamb koftas over the next 3 years. The fruit was handpicked, destemmed, cold soaked, fermented to 13.5% alc.
