Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Gisborne
Review Date : 30-Mar-2023
Bright, even pale straw yellow. The nose is gently full, with aromas of ripe pear and yellow apple with a suggestion of stonefruit, melded with white floral and spice. Medium-bodied, dry-ish to taste, aromas of apple and pear entwined with white floral and a slight hint of ginger. A touch of sweetness provides some flesh to the palate, and vibrant acidity carries a crisp finish. Match with pad-Thai noodles and pork tacos over the next 2 years. Fermented to 12.5% alc. 16.5/20 pts (83 pts) Mar 2023 RRP $19.99
