Klein Constantia Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa
Review Date : 27-Sep-2016
Very pale straw colour. This has a very tightly bound, fresh and crisp nose, with good intensity of gooseberry and herbal fruit aromas, and mouthwatering mineral elements. This is pure and clean, near mono-dimensional, but with real zestiness. Dry and crisp on palate, the fruit flavours of gooseberries and herbs show with good depth and intensity, following a light phenolic, textural line. The acidity I racy and lends a thirst-quenching dryness on the sustained finish. Elegant, tight, crisp and dry, with some grip, this is very youthful. Cool-fermented in tank to 13.65% alc. and 1.4 g/L RS, the wine aged 7 months on lees. 17.5/20 Sep 2016 RRP $34.00
