Kevern Walker Hawke’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 16-Mar-2011
Pale straw-yellow with youthful green hues to the colour, this has a very refined bouquet with lifted aromatics of ripe tropical fruits, limes, yellow capsicums and minerals. The nose is intense and shines with its purity. Elegantly proportioned at 13.0% alc. and dry to taste at 5.0 g/L rs, the fruit has bright and aromatic, attractively lifted flavours of citrus fruits, gooseberries, herbs and minerals. There is a lusciousness to the expression, and the textures are slippery and smooth, with fresh, but softly ripe acidity enhancing the mouthfeel. Elderflower and blossoms show on the finish. Drink with Asian seafood dishes over the next 2-4 years. 300 cases made. 18.0-/20 Mar 2011 RRP $12.00
