Kerpen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett 2011

Riesling from Germany
Review Date : 28-Mar-2014
Very pale straw colour, pale on rim. This has a firm, intense and deep nose with plenty of flinty, minerally reduction entwined with wet-stone and slate aromas, the bouquet opening out with aeration. Medium-dry to medium in sweetness, subtly rich and honied fruit flavours of citrus fruits and florals are infused with sulphide reduction elements. This is delicate in presentation with soft acidity and a mellow mouthfeel, carrying through to a fine, restrained finish. Marked by reduction on bouquet, the delicacy and softness atones. 8.5% alc., 48 g/L RS. 17.5/20 Mar 2014 RRP $30.00
