Kerpen Riesling QbA 2012

Riesling from Germany
Review Date : 28-Mar-2014
Bright straw-yellow colour, pale on edge. The nose is light, tightly bound with flint and minerals entwined with white florals. This is soft and a little indistinct in fruit expression and showing some reduction. Medium-dry to taste, light and straightforward flavours of white floral fruits, flint, wet-stomes and a little honey are placed on a soft-textured, easy flowing palate. The acidity is lacy and fresh, providing lively balance, and lead to a light, crisp, fading finish. This is a light, straightforward Riesling with modest fruitiness. 10.0% alc., 36 g/L RS. 16.5+/20 Mar 2014 RRP $24.00
