Kerpen Graacher Domprobst Riesling Spatlese Feinherb 2011

Riesling from Germany
Review Date : 28-Mar-2014
Light straw-yellow colour. This has a very full, voluminous and soft bouquet with aromas of tropical fruits, honey and lifted exotic florals. Medium-dry to taste, gently rich flavours of limes, florals and honey show with lusciousness. The mouthfeel is soft, but enlivened by bright, fresh acidity providing a linearity. As the wine flows, the flavours open out, but are kept in a linear flow from the acidity that becomes racy, leading to an off-dry finish. This is a classical, piquant halb-trocken style. 11.5% alc., 25 g/L RS. 18.5/20 Mar 2014 RRP $34.50
