Deep, dense ruby-red, youthful, slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is bright, full and with depth, aromas of succulent Doris plums, blackberries, underlying violet, nutmeg, star anise and oak fragrance. Full-bodied, the palate is packed with aromas of plums, blackberries and violet, unveiling star anise, nutmeg and cedar. The fruit is bright with good energy possesses lively acidity and depth. Fine-grained tannin fills the palate with depth and breadth, along with attractive spices; brilliant acidity drives a focused and lengthy finish.
