Kahurangi Estate Nelson Pinot Noir Rosé 2015

Rose from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 15-Sep-2015
Moderately deep, purple-hued pink colour, lighter on the edge. The nose is full open and up-front with bold aromas of strawberries, and raspberries and cream, with lifted floral and confectionary elements. This builds in depth and intensity in the glass. Off-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate features up-front luscious and juicy, sweet fruit flavours of raspberries and cream with lifted red florals. The palate is open and accessible, with soft and fine textures and gentle acidity providing a rounded, but fresh mouthfeel. The palate flows easily, leading to a gentle, light and dry finish with red floral and confectionary notes. This is an up-front, juicy, off-dry rosé with raspberry and cream flavours and a soft, light, dry finish. Match with antipasto, tapas and dim sum over the next 2 years. 100% Pinot Noir fruit from two vineyards, given skin contact and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 6 g/L RS. 17.5-/20 Sep 2015 RRP $21.90
